What is a good scary book paranormal?

ok now I want a good suspensful, weird, and paranormal book correctly. I already have the 2 pound Ghost Horror. so what is a good book from that right now inspired the "father of modern horror literature": HP Lovecraft (though he usually wrote short stories and short stories) I could recommend, in fact, the book The Exorcist by William Peter Blatty, but warned there are some actual events are based, although Blatty changed some details in his story.
